About


Žydrė is a Lithuanian violinist and freelance concert producer based in Japan. She creates and performs in both solo and collaborative projects, combining traditional repertoire with contemporary music.Her projects aim to foster cultural exchange, highlight contemporary composers, and engage audiences in unique musical experiences.

Projects / activities
2025 – Čiurlionis 150th Anniversary Concert – Ishikawa Ongakudo Koryu Hall. Conceived and produced a multimedia concert celebrating Čiurlionis’s music and visual works. Featured Lithuanian chamber and orchestral music with performers from Tokyo and Kanazawa.
2025 – Kyogen Collaboration with Trio Akiniai – Kanazawa. Performed a one-time concert blending classical music with traditional Kyogen elements.
2022–2024 – Ukraine Support Concerts – Various. Initiated and produced large-scale charity concerts in Hokuriku, including the first event featuring 44 artists, raising funds and awareness for Ukraine.
2024 – Noto Earthquake Relief Concerts – Various. Participated as a performer in charity concerts supporting local communities.
2021 – Collaboration with Painter Morio Matsui (1936–2022) – Tokyo. Performed live violin at an exhibition, integrating music with his visual art. Inspired by his artistic guidance, which continues to influence my work.
2020 – “音楽から生まれたいけばな” – Ishikawa Ongakudo. Produced and performed in a unique collaboration with Ikebana artist Sugimoto Seimon and double bassist Danielis Rubinas, combining live music and Ikebana installation.
