About
Žydrė is a Lithuanian violinist and freelance concert producer based in Japan. She creates and performs in both solo and collaborative projects, combining traditional repertoire with contemporary music. Her projects aim to foster cultural exchange, highlight contemporary composers, and engage audiences in unique musical experiences.

Projects / activities
2025 – Čiurlionis 150th Anniversary Concert – Ishikawa Ongakudo Koryu Hall. Commissioned by the Lithuanian Embassy in Japan, conceived and produced a multimedia concert celebrating Čiurlionis’s music and visual works. Featured Lithuanian chamber and orchestral music with performers from Tokyo and Kanazawa.
2025 – Trio Akiniai × Kyōgen – Kanazawa. Interdisciplinary collaboration with Kyōgen performer Miyake Tōkurō, creating a dialogue between classical and contemporary music and traditional Japanese theatrical arts.
2022–2024 – Ukraine Support Concerts – Various. Initiated and produced large-scale charity concerts in Hokuriku, including the first event featuring 44 artists, raising over 10 million yen in donations and awareness for Ukraine.
2024 – Noto Earthquake Relief Concerts – Various. Participated as a performer in charity concerts supporting local communities.
2021 – Live Collaboration with Painter Morio Matsui (1936–2022) – Kanda Myojin, Tokyo. An interdisciplinary performance where I performed solo violin repertoire while Matsui simultaneously created new paintings influenced by the music.
2020 – “Ikebana Born from Music” (音楽から生まれたいけばな) – Ishikawa Ongakudo. Produced and performed in a unique collaboration with Ikebana artist Sugimoto Seimon and double bassist Danielis Rubinas, combining live music and Ikebana installation.
